Yeah, well, crap flows around and around.

We've had our differences, Dave. Mostly political. Maybe we will in the
future, too, but I doubt it. Whatever. I don't care about that any
longer, at least on ROFF.

This ROFF forum is strange. I've met my best fishing friends here --
people whom I'd never have met anywhere else, ever. No way.

I've fished with them in Belize and Alaska and the Florida Keys and all
though the Rocky Mountain West and God knows where else. All over the
place. It's been a trip, and it will continue, with or without ROFF,
thank you very much.

Why has this place turned into such a ********? I suppose it's the
inevitable nature of Usenet.

It hasn't. It is, among other things, and as it has always been, a place
where ****bags can dump their load and then whine about getting some of
their own back. For those who see this as a problem, the solution should be
obvious. Obviously, it isn't. This says little about the nature of the
place but speaks volumes about those who would have us believe that they are
forced to participate against their wills.

I suppose it's the inevitable nature of Usenet.

It is the nature of unmoderated Usenet groups that they are essentially
