Splork Vang Mu !!

Now I have to wipe the Budweiser spew off the computer screen. ;-)

What in the *hell* was Imus thinking anyway ?

What the hell is everyone else thinking? What's next - folks shocked at
Howard Stern saying "tits?" It's the Don-****in-Imus Show, not "Five
Minutes of All Warm and Fuzzy" on "All Things Considered"...

If a person doesn't wanna hear Don Imus say "controversial" stuff, maybe
listening to Don Imus' show ain't the thing they ought to be doing...

And what the hell was he doing apologizing (to anyone besides the girls
themselves)? He shoulda told Al Sharpton something along the lines of
suggesting he put his de-nappied head back up his ass.

R

Richard, his comment wasn't "controversial" at all, it was a
despicable cheap shot aimed at a group of college kids. The
man has a public platform with which to speak his mind, along
with that comes a certain responsibility.

Um, then what was the whole series of comments, the Lady Vols being
"cute" and "a nice-looking group of girls?" And before anyone gets all
"racial," the Tennessee and Rutgers team have the same racial makeup.
Google up who said what and I think you'll find that Imus' comment_S_
weren't as "racist" as some might wish it to make it, and if 50-Cent or
Poof Dribbler or your favorite gangsta rapper had said it, Sharpton, et
al, would have never opened their cakeholes.

TC,
R
And no, I didn't hear the original broadcast, but I did a little
research to see who said what.

By way of self-correction, I'll specify that this is the claim Sharpton
made on the Today Show this morning. I haven't confirmed it, but he did
seem sincere. Since he said it so publicly, I'm sure if he's not being
truthful, it will show up on the blogosphere.

Oh, well, if it's on the 'net, it's just GOTTA be true...now, if you can
find a blog to confirm, I'd say it's ironclad...

Then I guess his feelings on the subject are just too controversial to
be widely covered...

The only thing for which Al Sharpton has been an avid fighter is Al
Sharpton (and his bank account...).
