Ever since he didn't grant that dying boy his fishing wish, he's lost it man, totally lost it. winnard I have to disagree. I hate Ike's antics BUT he has interested a lot of kids in fishing. Same with Roland with this TOY. If it gets kids to try fishing what is the harm? That 'toy' qualifies as crap. And it also qualifies as a gun, which some parents find giving their children objectionable. That aside, I think the gimmick that it is a projectile toy is more than the gimmick that it is a unique fishing rod... -- lab~rat :-) Do you want polite or do you want sincere? |

His three year old grandson was given one of these by one of his aunts. Gil said the reel actually isn't too bad for a spincast reel. What we both find hilarious is the kid won't use it for fishing, he'd rather hunt the family cat with it! Precocious little bugger. Gil said that as a fishing tool, it's crap, but for cat hunting, it's pretty good! :-) -- Steve @ OutdoorFrontiers http://www.outdoorfrontiers.com G & S Guide Service and Custom Rods http://www.herefishyfishy.com |
