Just got my new phone line hooked up...had a week away from "everything"
.

I'm all moved into the cabin..what an easy peaceful feeling it is here!

I unpacked my fishing gear, and decided to see what was in the lake
yesterday. There are some good looking spots around the other side of
the lake, but I was tired (lazy), so I just walked out the front door
and casted out. Second cast I caught a little smallie, maybe a
pound...but on light spinning tackle, it was fun. Fourth cast another
smallie, a little bigger. Now I was starting to smile really wide!!!

I caught two more smallies in about 5 minutes, and decided to go in an
get a cold MGD to celebrate .

The first lure I selected was a neon blue salted worm my son has poured
special for him....not sure I will change very soon grin. But I want
to see what the stick-ups in the back of the lake are holding....it is
an exciting thought now that I know there is a bass population in there!

The cabin is more like a house...large and comfortable with forced air
heat and air. A full basement and lots of storage...I couldn't be more
satisfied!

My brother is going to bring his digital camera over and maybe I can
post some pics of the cabin nd lake....and maybe a smallie or two!
grin.

I'm happy!!!!

Welcome back John. We have missed your anecdotes. Well I have. Can't
speak for anybody else.
