Default LL Bean blanks?

Does anyone know what blanks LL Bean uses for their 5 piece travel rod
series?

Last I knew, Loomis rolled the Bean blanks but this could have changed and
their really low end rods are probably being rolled in Asia.

However, even if Loomis is still rolling their blanks, you are not getting a
Loomis rod re-labeled as an LL Bean rod. You are getting blanks rolled by
Loomis or whomever to LL Bean characteristic tapers and actions. Ergo, LL
Bean uses their own blanks for their rods.

Are you asking who makes them for Bean, specs beyond those they publish
(taper, etc.), or ??? Regardless of which, have you asked them? IMO,
they have become little more than a label, and it'd be a rare case where
you could buy a "sleeper" from them. IOW, anything you buy from them
will be something you could buy from other sources cheaper. For
example, the once-famed chinos are now made by a well-known (heck,
probably THE best-known) "work clothes" maker and one can buy that
maker's "house label" for about 1/4-1/3 of the "L. L. Bean" labeled
product. In fact, if one were to go to that maker's outlet store in
Fort Worth, Texas, they could buy them for about 10USD a pair.
