I am able to wade reasonably comfortably but, I do use a wading staff. I have some trouble with the bowling ball size rocks in E. Tennessee. If you do the procedure, I would recommend that you ask the orthopod if you can do some physical therapy before the procedure. This will tone up the muscles and make your postop therapy go much more smoothly. I agree to go with a hospital and surgeon who does a bunch of these. Have you ever noticed that dentists are excellent fly tyers. I wonder
if MSD's are even a cut above. Please do not use the word "cut" in a posting about dentistry. It arouses unpleasant memories. vince
