7-11 it's not just a convenience store any more.

Got a pre-spawn pig on the drop shot this morning. 7-11, on a 4"
Producto Springworm. Sunny and calm, water temp was 52-53, fish was in a
thick patch of fresh green cabbage (broadleaf pondweed) in about 8 feet
of water. Not sure how I ever got her out of that cabbage with 6lb
fluoro, but there was a whole lot of it floating after she and I got
done slicing it up with the line.

That's a VERY nice fish Rich. I got out today for the season opener. A
wicked cold front has just hit our area but we managed to get a few
largemouth and some northern pike. All the fish came on spinnerbaits,
couldn't get anything else going.
