I think I can help your problem. First take the plug for the foot pedal
apart and spray contact cleaner on both the parts. If your handy mechanically you can take the pedal apart and see if the switch you press with your foot works. If it doesn't you will have to replace the pedal. My last one was around $60. "Ryan" wrote in message ... I have a two year old bow mounted Minn Kota 40 ibs. trolling motor. I pulled it out yesterday to go do some fishing to find that the foot peddel that gives the thrust for however long the peddel is pressed didn't work. Everything else on the control works (ie left right steering, the slide accuater, and the auto pilot switch) However I did have to mess with it (move it back and forth) till it made good contact and started working. I don't know where to start trying to resolve the issue can anyone help? -- Ryan |
