Default First bass on artificial bait

This is a pic of my brother-in-law's first bass he has ever caught on a
plastic worm. He caught it in front of my cabin .

He had never fished artificial bait before....his confidence level went
from almost "0" to a 100% after the catch.

I love this place!

I remember, back in the late 1960s, watching Jerry McKinnis
demonstrate Texas rigging a plastic worm. He was doing a television
show called the Falls City Fisherman. I bought some worms and tried
it. I got bit on the first three casts. I still feel like I can
almost always catch fish on a Texas rigged worm. I'm wrong sometimes,
but I am confident.
