A15' long and 46" wide at the bottom is a nice 2 person Jon boat for medium
size lakes. It will be good with a 25-30hp tilleroutboard. I would get a 50# 12 volt bow mounted eletric. __________________________________________________ __________________ You might be better off with the 1650 MVJ (16' long) with a 40hp tiller. Still a very lihgt rig. -- Bill Kiene Kiene's Fly Shop Sacramento, CA, USA Web site: www.kiene.com "Olebiker" wrote in message ups.com... Does anyone here have any experience with the Triton 1546 MVJ? http://www.tritonboats.com/frames2.asp?cat=3&bid=65 The War Department at my house has decided that it will be OK for me to buy a boat to replace my little 12 foot jon boat. I can't really justify a full fledged bass boat, but I want something I can safely take on larger bodies of water like Lake Seminole in Georgia. It also has to be easy to tow with my four cylinder truck. I have in mind getting this boat with a 25 hp manual start and installing a bow mount, foot controlled trolling motor. |
