additional arable land that would become available, not just in the former

desert and accept that that is what it is. No green lawns. No green
golf courses (and thats what this is all about isn't it). No open
irrigation ditches. No ****ing "Dancing Waters" at the casino. Drink
recycled waste water (not a big Chamber of Commerce selling point, I
know). If you want to live a wet lifestyle, move somewhere where its
wet.

We need to expand NAWAPA to include canals and locks. Imagine living
in a houseboat. I could spend the summers in BC or Alberta and every
fall sail casually down the Rocky mountain trench to NM or Aizona. I
think I could build an electric houseboat such that between solar
cells on board and plugging into one of the many wind turbines along
the canal would have plenty of motive power.

Sounds great to me. I have always wanted to sail from Alberta to New
Mexico.
I could fund it with my mink coat facility.

I have a two part operation. I raise ranch mink that I slaughter for
their pelts. I feed their carcases to rats in an attached facility.
The rats are used to feed the mink.

Nothing in......mink pelts out.

Better than printing money.

It is wrong. IF I recall my history correctly it was 18 century
England were a group of swags formed a stock company to start a
company to raise cats, rats and mink on a group of islands somewhere.
I think it was in the indies but that would be a terrible place to
raise mink. Canada would be better.
I think they went to the white collar prisons of the time
( Australia??).
