Way too funny...talk about revenge, the ex-wife of a friend of
a friend snuck in, loaded his string of beloved pack mules up
and ran them through the El Paso horse auction...man, that's
almost worthy of capital punishment...

Jon.

except...it is absolutely ballsy brilliant. i'd be in awe of that woman
and recommend her to my friends.

jeff

Amen.

Wolfgang
but she would frighten some.......as has already been noted.

This is going around the office...
I think it funnier than the wife selling her husbands fly gear...
The best is at the bottom.

Man, I'm up for sending this guy a sixer and a Home Depot Gift Card.
Awesome.

Hey, has anyone thought of tyin' a Beanie Baby fly? And yes, the best was
at the bottom!

Op --hope that bitch is happy. Not the wife, but Taisha.--

No kidding. Except that the anal twit will probably turn him into the
feds. He's selling them mostly as plush toys and revenge, not going
on any about anything else.

I've bought a couple of Beanies that I'm pretty sure were counterfeit.
We ripped the tags off and gave them to the grandson to cuddle. Well,
I did give one frankly fake (had catnip in it) to the cat. That's
what they should be for, not for some women with no lives to put on
shelves and brag about. However, I suppose it keeps them away from my
fishing areas...

Often taunted by trout.
Only a fool would refuse to believe in luck. Only a damn fool would rely on it.

Beanie Babies, had 309,633 hits on eBay? Who would have believed?

P.S. forgive me if I'm the last one to discover this one.

What is not to be believed? "Pet rock" gets 1,370,000 hits on Google.

Damndest thing though is I looked up 4 of the fluffy creatures he had
listed and one of them alone was sold recently for $1200.00 ON EBAY,
another for $800.00 and another yet for $595.00...

Those 3 alone would have gotten hime 3x the money he got for the lot!!

If he REALLY wanted to get even with her, he wouldhave goten the actual
"value" of them....

Larry =)

I wondered how the whole thing was put together:
I read the sentences but they weren't specific
enough, especially w/respect to the fire. Wouldn't
burning them alive, or dipping them in some hot
oil, been a lot simpler and just as painful ?

Ya but not half as much fun. This was the punishment for treason so
it had to have good spectator appeal. If your executioner liked you
or if you tipped him (in advance, of course) then he left you hanging
a tad too long so you didn't get to feel the rest of the proceedings.

This is the ultimate logic behind capital punishment. On the one hand,
if it's to be the most effective deterrent, it should be as painful and
humiliating and public as possible. Lethal injection? Give me a break!
That's for squeamish, liberal bleeding hearts.

The other argument behind capital pushishment doesn't involve
deterrence, but rather retribution and "justice." Well, don't serial
killers and child rapers deserve worse than a quick, painless death?

BTW, I'm against captial punishment, so read the above as a reductio ad
absurdam.
