Default "Switch" rods

Hey guys, as far as switch rods go there are a million options these
days. The switch rods we use/build are based for a wide rand of
fishing. First off, for our steelhead fishery we use a 11'6" spey
blank in a 6wt with different length fighting buts that can be added or
removed for the condition you need. this setup is perfect for steelhead,
smallmouth, catfish, carp, and other warm water species. If you're using
the rod as a fly rod, we just use the short 2" fighting butt, if using
it as a spey we use the 5" fighting butt, and if using it for a flaot
rod (or centerpin) we use 7-10" fighting butt depending on the person
using the rod. For small stream trout we perfer a 9' 3-4 wt in which
we've used all over PA, NY, OH, wyoming, montana, and idaho. I've been
using this rod for quite sometime wih great success and these are the
way to go. For centerpinning we only use flies unless we are after
catfish we opt for worms :guns: but thats the way it is.

I hope this info shed light on the subject.
