You should title your site,

Hello folks.
Can you all please remove the ** rec.aquaria.freshwater.misc,
rec.aquaria.marine.misc, ** groups from your cross posting list.
These 2 groups are about home aquariums, not your types of fishing.
= )
Thanks a lot, and have a great catch!

Which reminds me of the time I was practicing left-handed casting with just a
rod tip, a full leader and a fly with the bend cut off, in a friend's home,
using a rather large aquarium as a convenient landing area, when friend's most
prized possession - a silver arowana about 14 inches long - cleared the top of
the glass in a leap going for a false cast....

The arowana survived...and I eventually recovered from the thrashing...

Trip, didn't you have an issue with a moose whilst on the Rapid?

A few years ago we were fishing the McCloud Rv. CA, which at one time
was know for it's lumber Co. It's a small town, with a lot of locals who
love to tell fishing stories. One of the old-timers was telling us of a
steelhead
he at onetime caught for his dinner. When he cut it open he found a gold
nugget worth a little over $800.oo. At first I didn't believe him, but then
he reached in his pocket and pulled out the nugget. Still sounded a little
fishy to me.

Well, yeah, but that would have been off-topic for the aquarium types ;-)

If it had been a story about a moose in a really large terrarium, it might
have been ok.
