Aye, we are, especially to bloody Welchmen! Aye! s;o)

Hi, Bill. Just got back from another trip to the fine state of Maine.
Did a single day float trip on the W. Branch of the Penobscot with a
friend from town.

Hope all is well with you and Ann.

Dave

Well done Dave. Isn't floating a bit cold at this time of the year?

We don't see too much of this activity in the UK.

Anne and I are fine thanks and Geraint now 8 years of age is slowing
down a bit.

Regards to Joanne

Forgot to tell you that Henry died on March 5. Very sudden. He died
in Joanne's arms on the way to the emergency vet. We miss him
terribly.

A week later we picked up Jenny, a female Golden, while visiting
family in Georgia. She's a great pup, full of spirit and mischief.
She had trouble urinating so off to the vet we go when she's about
five months old. Seems that old Jenny was also a Kenny - a classic
hermarphrodite. Back to the vet and $1600 later, no Kenny, just
Jenny. A snip here - a tuck there - and voila, we have a female
puppy. d;o)

Which--the $1600 or the dog?

Russell

Who suspects the answer is, "Yes."

It can be awful, and can take time to get over. We lost our Gwilym, but
in his case it was a dreadful experience taking him to be put to sleep.

Male puppies have to be assisted to urinate - the bitch will lick the
appropriate part to encourage urination, perhaps this was the problem.

Whatever I'm sure jenny will grow to fill the gap left by henry and hepl
heal the loss.

$1600 !!! what's that in our money - about £800 perhaps. I have
insurance for Geraint and it comes in at £26 per month with an excess of
£85 per illness !

He's worth it though.

Regards and best wishes
