Cleveland is using their homefield advantage. The stadium is swarming
with bugs (drawn by the Yankees?). What the heck are they?

I dunno, but I'm pretty sure they're working for the Red Sox...

/daytripper (they certainly annoyed the hell out of Chamberlain ;-)

Well, they just announced that they're Canadian Soldiers (flying ants,
man, I was right!). They even said that this should make the fly
fishermen happy.
So, all the Off in the world ain't gonna work against these things.
They should use dirt or talcum powder.
By the way, wiff is rooting for the Red Sux and I'm an old Angels
fan. Gettin' rough around this house. I would take the bugs rather
than sitting through another Angels Red Sox game with her.

What I wish I'd thought of: "Sacrifice Flies"

Aka Chironomus plumosus (Linnaeus) or Chironomus attenuatus Walker...

/daytripper (the lowly midge falls the mighty Yanquis! :-)
