Sadly the same can be said of you. And others on roff. I have never considered you a friend either, fwiw. But I have tried to be more civil towards you. |

And, I am trying to be more civilized towards rw. You and Jr. are the only people on roff I do not respect, nor would I fish with. Yes, I have been less than kind to lots of people on roff, usually because of politics. But I have never turned on them. I have taken as I have given. Such is life. I am jealous of only one person on roff, and that is because of where he lives. I am certainly not jealous of you because it is quite obvious you live a lonely and pathetic life, always looking to impress *anyone* with your fishing knowledge. My life is not perfect, but it is a helluva lot better than yours. Stupidity? Yeah, I have a streak of Connor in me. And like you, I have a hard time learnin'. But, unlike you, I am seriously working on it. At one time I respected you, Mike. I sent you a picture of the roffians at Waldo's Spring Fling. Even sent you a hat I believe. But your tantrums and irrational behavior over the years have gotten you into a hole that you keep on diggin' deeper. Your attack on Tom Littleton was the last straw. I will continue to support Fortenberry not because he is a friend, but because he is so correct in his estimation of you. Dave Hmm, Well Dave I have nothing but respect for you just from your knowledge of flyfishing and your willingness to share that with us.. So The puppet Mike doesn't speak for everyone like he seems to think and dream... Rick |

Rick As you will doubtless rapidly discover, nonsense from individuals of your ilk is never welcomed by the decent people here, and LaCourse doesn´t know much about flyfishing either. That also explains his almost total inability to recognise it when he sees it. Doubtless the same fate awaits you. MC |

I need not defend my fishing prowess on this forum. Folks that do not like me (rw for example) will tell you I am a good fisherman. I could flood this place with TRs with pictures of the fish I have taken. And, yes, before you call me on it, I have used guides on 7 of 100 days a year I fish. But, even with a guide, you need to know how to read the water, knots, cast, play the fish, and release it relatively unharmed. On my only guided trip this year, the guide wanted me to nymph as we floated down a Maine river. I wanted to end my 2007 season by catching fish on the surface. My friend nymphed and was successful following the guide' advice. I too was successful without him, however I did appreciate his rowing the raft. It was a good year for learning and teaching. d;o) |

That may be a difficult concept for you to grasp but it is nevertheless a fact. It is also a fact that you dont ´know anything at all about my fishing, or my skills and knowledge in any area at all. You don´t know much of anything at all outside ROFF it seems. This newsgroup does not loom as large in my life as it obviously does in yours. Please endeavour to use what meagre intelligence you possess. A little basic logic would prevent you continually making a fool of yourself. As to flooding this place with trip reports, it seems to me you prefer to flood it with bull****. If you do not want me to reply to you, and I certainly do not want to, why do you insist on addressing me personally? This really is my very last post to you, there is absolutely no point in conversing with you, because you are an obnoxious egotistical and often malicious idiot, and full of bull****. MC |

However, Mike Connor is definitely gone and I believe the rest of you involved are also on a similar plane- heading fast in the same direction I know that you might say about me on the side - look who's talkin - with his political Cheney drool puddle - one guy called it but you boys, to put it mildly, are ****ing nuts! Why bother to continue this stuff w ea other??? Sincerely Fred |
