Yeah, me too. You seem to forget some of the statements he has made
against me, Fortenberry, BJ, Scott, Tom L., and others, including the
poor souls that gave him some slack. They were very hurtful words,
Jeff. As a kid I could hold my own in any fight, but this is down and
dirty street fighting, no holds barred. I wasn't very good at that as
a kid. I am now, however, thanks to his nut house. I didn't make the
rules - hell, there are no rules. I will give to *******s like Connor
and rw as I receive. Leave me alone and I will leave you alone.
Simple. Can that be the #1 rule of roff? I doubt it, because someone
will say something and someone else will disagree with it, and the war
is on again. Look at what rw did to a serious Veterans Day Thread.
He filled it with his hatred.

It is surprising to me that you fail to come down on Connor who has
more than his fair share of injurious words. Is it because you hate
Fortenberry? Remember, if you look back on all of this recent crap,
it was Connor who stuck his nose in and insulted Fortenberry *for no
reason at all.* For gawds sake, Fortenberry was mourning the death of
his dog Kipper, and he was sharing that with us. He thought we would
understand. But no, we didn't understand. Connor came aboard again
with his hate and YOU did nothing about it except encourage it. YOU
failed to speak up, Jeff. You are as guilty as anyone else in this
****ing contest because you picked sides. Do you support him and how
he treats everyone on this forum that do not agree with him? I doubt
you can, but perhaps I am wrong. I am amazed and saddened by you
lately. I know you are a decent and passionate man - that is what I
love most about you - but I am afread your hatred of Forteberry has
jaundiced your eye.

You donīt have a heart LaCourse, you have an ego instead, and it is
apparently extremely difficult to keep it fed.

Furthermore, most people who are interested in fly-fishing who read
all the crap on here, will simply avoid it, so basically you are
merely preventing people who might be interested from joining, and
sickening others off.

Many want information LaCourse, not descriptions of your exploits, or
how rich or successful you are. You constantly blame others for your
own abysmal behaviour. Nobody with any sense takes you seriously any
more. Anybody who disagrees with you about anything at all is
immediately attacked.

One of the reasons fly-fishing is a great leveller LaCourse, is
because fish donīt care about bull****.

Lastly LaCourse, you are indeed correct, I am often very lonely
indeed, which prompts me to offer you some unsolicited advice. You
would be much better off spending what time you have with your wife
and family, than devoting it to completely useless rancour on here.
Those are the only things of any real importance, and there is no way
of knowing how long you may have them. Some never have them at all,
and many fail to realise it until it is too late.

And yet, here you are. d;o)

Most folks on this forum think you crazy, Connor. Scott pointed out
*exactly* the reasons he thinks so, yet you ignore it.

If you check back, whenever a newbie asks a question, I and others are
there to help him out. The lates being Dave whom you called the OP.
You didn't even know his name because you were so full of yourself and
impressing others.

Bottom line, Connor: You have failed it removing Fortenberry and me
from roff. I was here before you and will be here long after someone
else ****es you off and you leave in yet another snit.

You canīt speak for most folks LaCourse. There are lots of people
about who think lots of things which have nothing whatever to do with
reality. There is nothing I can do about it, even if I wanted to.

I donīt need to check back LaCourse, my memory is excellent. I knew
his name perfectly well, I had just sent him a brand new reel which
had only been used for a few demos, a number of spare spools for it,
and a box of brand new lines.

I have absolutely no interest in removing you from anywhere LaCourse,
even were I capable of it. I am merely interested in trying to stop
you attacking me at every possible opportunity, or even without one.

You and your cronies have done your absolute utmost to **** me off
LaCourse, and although I was surprised at the depths to which some of
you will sink, it has had no other effect on me except to increase my
determination. Any sensible person would have seen that long ago, and
given up all this ****.

It is childish, stupid, demeaning, it fills the group up with crap,
and it is a total waste of time.

Also LaCourse, you often give wrong advice, and incorrect information.
This is obviously because you donīt know any better. When you donīt
know something, it is better to keep your mouth shut.

Give your advice, nobody is saying you shouldnīt, but allow others to
give theirs without your constant interference and bull****.

My personal score with Fortenberry is also none of your business.
There are quite a few things you donīt know LaCourse.

Ah dave...i was wondering when that little gem was going to be
displayed. just sorry it was you that did it.

First, i think i have been clear and consistent. the rancor and
name-calling is unproductive and unconvincing, without regard to who is
doing it. i have said several times i don't agree with mike's methods
or name-calling.

Second, i don't hate fortenberry. he doesn't have enough meaning for me
to have that intense of a feeling about him. nothing i have said has
been motivated by hatred of anyone.

Third, i picked no sides. i commented with my opinion about what i
observed. i hope, as always, i picked what i believe to be the truth of
the matter.

Fourth, i suggest you look inward and assess the emotions that are
driving you, rather than trying to share or spread the guilt for your
own unreasonable conduct with me or anyone else.

Finally, you aren't winning the fight. Your methods and the choices you
are making are awful. You are becoming sullied and dirtied by it. Trust
me... as a friend.

Once again, the voice of reason comes from the usual corners. The past week
has been like watching a kindergarten debate, with both sides claiming
victory. This "if you hurt me, I'll hurt you badder" mentality would be
comical if it wasn't coming from what are purported to be grown men.

Shame on you, Dave, for dragging Jeff's name into this mess. You are truly
blessed that he is so forgiving as to continue calling you a friend.

He dragged his own name into it, Tim. And while I consider him as
friend, I think he has added to the rancor simply because of his
immense dislike of Fortenberry. Shame on you for not stopping Connor
when he started it with Fortenberry's sad post about Kipper. THAT was
the beginning of it, yet NO ONE called Connor on it except the usual
suspects. No Tim, no Jeff. If you want to be a peace keeper you have
to deal with both sides of the argument. I'm not seeing that, Tim.

Dave
