Max Cleland did not receive the PH, yet he had it listed on his
website. I and many others called him on it and it was removed.
It had nothing to do with his service. I thank him for that.

John Kerry served, which is more than you did, but his behavior after
the war was disgraceful. And some of his behavior *during* that war
was and still is in question. But he did serve. Where were you,
Barnard? Hiding under some fairy's skirts in San Francisco? You and
Cheney have much to talk about, eh? But Cheney isn't effeminate.
What was that "fly fishing modeling" for? Ladies Weekly? Vogue?

I promised never to call you what Fortenberry alwaysdoes, so I will
refrain, but you are a despicable person for not honoring on this day
those who served *for you*. For YOU, Barnard.

It's pretty ****ING sad that you guys have to taint an innocent thread that
was started with honest and pure intentions. Almost every thread lately has
quickly degenerated into ****. I don't post often, but read almost daily.
Posts are up the last couple weeks, but so is the nonsensical bull****. If
you guys can't knock off the BULL**** long enough to show a little respect
for the people who have served without even meeting you, then **** YOU. I
usually try to avoid any conflict here, but this is too much. Keep the
political **** on it's own thread instead of ruining an honorable one.

I despise the US military and the warmongers in control of it but
I certainly do not hate nor disrespect the veterans who served
in wars that should probably have never been waged

But I would not and do not mean to denigrate this thread!

Again - my 2 cents

Sincerely
Fred

And on that note.....

Thanks, me.

I'm welcome.

No, really, I mean it.

Well, I only did it for me.

Yes, and that's why I appreciate it. It isn't everybody who would do so
much for me and ask nothing in return.

Tut, tut, it was nothing. I mean, if I wasn't willing to make some
sacrifices for me, what kind of person would I be?

Exactly, that's why I love me (I mean, strictly in the sense of
agape......none of that eros kind of stuff.....I don't swing that way) and
hold me in such high esteem. I only wish that I could think of something
adequate to do for me in the interest of reciprocity.

Well, that would be nice, but it really isn't necessary. It's enough for me
to know that I really do care about me and that I'm willing to come out and
say so in a public forum, at the risk of being denigrated for my selfless
devotion.

Yes, that really is brave of me, and it just adds to the already long list
or reasons that I appreciate me and feel that it is occasionally required of
me to remind me that I am appreciated and held in high regard.

Yes, well, thanks again, me.

I'm welcome.
