A thread about Hopper patterns without his comments on the best foam or use
of Superglue to attach inverted trailing hooks just seems naked g.

Hope you've just matured to the point of leaving UseNet behind, Sandy, and
are are well.

Pittendrigh left in a snit after he failed to reform roff
to his own standards of Usenet "maturity". You can email
him at Bozo U., (Montana State University, Bozeman), he's
in the book.

I haven't logged in for a month or so.
No, I didn't leave in a snit. I just left.

Probably be a month or more before I log in again.
There are (still) a fair number of knowledgeable, helpful
posters here. But the numbers continue to shrink.
The signal to noise ratio gets worse, and the noise makers
continue to dominate the discussions.

Been hanging out in the woodworking and programming groups.
comp.lang.this.and.that have their share of cyber muggers too.
The main difference there is they (like J. Stuckle on comp.lang.php
and/or A. Dingley on stylesheets, rdf or xml ) do know what they're
talking about.
