I had a similar discouraging revelation in my juggling days. I'd been busting my ass for years learning new stuff, when I watched some 13- year-old at a convention doing double back crosses with ease, juggling five clubs, and a lot of other stuff I had no prayer of learning. I knew at that moment I'd never be "that good". I didn't give it up completely, but I knew my place after that. :-( Joe F. |
