Default Quabbin Y Pool: Still Walk-In Only From Rt. 9 For 2005

Still access only from rte 9, and I expect we will not live to see
that change. As I have mentioned previously, if you park your car
just east of the filtration station on rte 9, (stay a distance away
from the no parking signs), and follow the cart road up to the
Y-Pool, it is actually an easier walk than it is from the old parking
area above the power station. A bit longer, but dead level. At the
moment, the flow is about twice the normal high flow, and still
rising, so wading access is very difficult. When it gets that high,
it takes a very long time to drop.....weeks, not days.

Another one!

Still another blast from the past that suddenly appears out of
nowhere. This one is about two years old. I have no idea why they are
suddenly appearing here as new messages.

Well, George, at least have the decency to update us:
Is it still walk-in, and has the water subsided?g
