Jeff - saw ad for nice lodge on madison that offers small cabins with a
small bed and queen size for $80 per night, with a front porch facing the
river, inside plumbing and a sink that drains. Might be as nice as that
tauge me hall you selected for the last western clave!
If the guy from New Zealand comes over you could offer to share the big bed
with him. He tells really big fish stories and could sing some of his songs
for us while sitting out on the porch in evenings. Perhaps you and Warren
could take him bowling

I said I wasn"t going west again but recieved my trip package of flies from
Troutflies too late to use on Rock Creek so will probably send a couple
of thousand dollars traveling out to the Madison so I won"t waste $12
dollars worth of flies.

Bring your camping gear, IJ, and we can go fish Rock Crick the week
after the clave.

IJ replies---sounds good--if my legs hold out I know just where a big brown
is stalking under the bank by an old car leaning beside the creek---hope I
can talk bruiser out of more than one of those big foam flies with a
paracute on top--thought last year we were going to have to take turns using
one fly.
Is your wife going t join you in the James Bond machine?? Have you named it
yet?

What was name and e-mail fo that guy we from Flordia we fished with at
Morgenton? Probably accompaying my wife to South Georgia in Feb for a
tennis tournment [ her team won all four matches in state tournment in
Pinehurst last weekend] Imight just keep going and take him up on his
fishing vacation offer. Hell he might not even be reading roff after driving
all the way from Fla to N.C. clave and only getting to fish with only the
two of us. [In the rain]

The plan as of now is to spend the 2 weeks prior to the clave
touristing/hiking with my wife around Yellowstone and then she'll fly
back and I'll spend the next few weeks fishing out there.

Dave Cassens. He said he stopped by the delayed harvest water on the
way back and caught some nice fish.

I'm glad to see you have your priorities straight Joe! It
would be a gawd damn shame to waste those fine Harry Mason
flies! Looks like I won't be in crisis mode next summer, so we
can take a boat ride down the river again....
