I recently replaced 2 bearings in a top of the line Pflueger spinner for my
buddy. He's had it for a couple of years and used it in the salt one time. He said he rinsed it. It used a non standard bearing that was not easy to get. "Bob La Londe" wrote in message .. . "Chris Rennert" wrote in message ... All Symetre and Sahara here. But I do like the Pflueger trion Baitcaster, and my Pflueger Purist Baitcaster is ok until it gets cold. Joshuall wrote: Just wondering what the take of the group is on the quality of spinning reels made by Pfleuger ? Looking at the mid sized reels. Any comments or thoughts . . . thanks in advance. I've got Trion and Supreme spinners and they just didn't hold up. -- Posted via a free Usenet account from http://www.teranews.com |

One of the things I ran into with the Pflueger spinning reels was if they got dunked the lubricant just all seemed to float away instantly. You could literally start feeling the damage within 20 casts or so. "Bob La Londe" wrote in message .. . "Chris Rennert" wrote in message ... All Symetre and Sahara here.
