I tried it once, and it did seem to have a temporary effect in my veggie garden; but my nemesis (quickweed?) is persistent, and the garden, faced with chronic neglect from me, eventually succumbs every year. It's okay stuff, but it's not a magic bullet. Paraphrasing the old VW ad, it definitely works, but does not work indefinitely.
