Hey, I've been on a small is better kick and am tying many of my nymphs down to size 20. Problem is, I don't fish in the winter and don't have a chance to test out these beauties. My theory has more to do with how the fly sinks than trying to imitate the size of existing nymphs on a given stream. Anyone have much experience with micronymphs? Should I go back to tying no. 12 PT's?. Thanks, Frogge. ![]() I'll usually fish a relatively large nymph on top and a smaller one on a dropper. -- Cut "to the chase" for my email address. |
