![]() They offer a 10% TU discount and sometimes have a decent selection. However, if you need technical equipment advice or broad (fly) fishing advice they are not good. I usually go to the Ledgewood store but I would seriously have a hard time buying a $675 Scott rod from the guy with purple hair! (I'm not sure if he works there anymore but you should get the idea). I suppose that at least in the past couple of years they got registers that handle credit cards. It used to crack me up that it took 2 people to ring you up- one to enter into the cash register and the other to swipe your credit card! What I am really saying is if you want a discount and you know what you need go to Ramseys for convenience. If you want friendly service and appropriate advice as well as someone who knows how to sell you something don't bother!
