Default Profile Plates -- anybody use one?

flytire a écrit :
i made one for my renzetti traveller usind a bent up coat hanger taped
to a 5 x 5 inch (about) square of 2mm tying foam.

took less than 10 minutes to make.

i use it for a background for fly photographs.

Same here, coat hanger, clip and a sheet of closed cell foam 1/8" thick.
I can change color according to tying I'm doing. Foam sheet are 4 for a
buck here. Close cell foam is a very good material to tye interesting
flies for Bass or Crappies.

Would you or anyone else, by chance, have a picture of the completed
wire and foam profile plate? Would like to see how it was constructed.
Sounds much easier and less expensive than the commercial ones
available
