There, I'll disagree with you, old pirate. What is going on in the nation
and within our role in the world is too important to trivialize as some
would do. Focusing on little video snippets and trying to portray an
intelligent person as dumb isn't "fun", it's trivializing an opportunity for
a legitimate national debate on some issues. Not that the actual candidates
won't manage to drop the gravitas levels a few notches before the process is
over, but still, I suspect those who would have the race reduced to guilt by
association, cherry-picked video clips, or misrepresented sound bits don't
really have the nation's best interests at heart.......

Um, how about Obama's defense of the "100 years in Iraq" commercials?
Even rational Dems were calling it a gross inaccurate characterization
of both the full quote and the intent, which is exactly what it was.
Thus far, I'd have to give the "high road" nod to McCain (personally -
the same cannot be said of several local GOP campaign ads).

Ah, but it seems for Obama to lie about what McCain said about the 100
years in Iraq. Hell, we've already spent 63 years in Germany and
Japan.

If he can not speak straight, what the hell is he going to do with
that 3 a.m call: "Yeah, we're going to bomb you." oh ****, he
forgot to say "not"

Everyone laughed at Quale's spelling of "potato", and it was funny.
Obama saying he's been in 57 states is hillarious. Obama hasn't been
in *47* states on his 20 months of running for potus. And, if his
wife has never been proud to be an American, just *why* the hell are
we trying to put her in the White House.

You know that this is some tiresome bull**** on your part. Four years
ago you were slandering a wheelchaired Medal of Honor winner who you
said jumped on the grenade the wrong way, because he was a Democrat.
Then it was ok to **** on McCain, another war hero, in North Carolina
because I guess that was fun too. Dave, you may have some good
qualities but you are sure one ****ed up puppy when it comes to this
crap. I have no idea where or when you learned that this crap was
consistant with being a man but I sincerly regret that it is a part of
who you are.

Wrong is so many ways, David.

Cleland did not win the Medal of Honor.
I and many others objected to his lying about the Purple Heart. He
was NOT a recipient of the PH. Maybe he should have been with the
terrible injuries he suffered, but he did not suffer those injuries in
battle. The man is a decorated war hero, much more of a hero than
your buddy Kerry, but he lied about his PH. He never received one and
it should not have been on his blog.

I would have objected to his conduct about the PH whether he was a Dem
or a Repub, but I am sure you would not believe that. There is one
thing veterans loathe and that is a wannabe. By listing himself as a
recipient of the PH was false and he should be and was condemned only
for that.

Kerry had his medals but he threw them over the WH fence. He threw
them away saying they weren't worth anything. My question is: Why
are they now displayed in his office and why did he use them in his
pathetic run for potus?

Yeah you are right, he ONLY won a Silver Star and a Bronze Star. And
you, Ann Coulter and a whole gaggle of creeps like to pretend that his
wounds at Khe Sanh were not battlefield wounds so his lost limbs did
not qualify for the purple heart. Frankly a whole passel of decent
republicans distance themselves from these slanders. The **** heels
like to say stuff like his wounds were self inflicted because he
picked up the grenade and that it wasn't Khe Sanh. I wonder how kids
popped dismantling IEDs would be classified by you and Coulter?

You know damn well that other than McCain this swiftboat crap has been
only run against Democratic politicians, by a group of dirt-bags that
would never have been welcome in the Republican party years ago, and
with McCain as the candidate maybe the Rs will clean out this rats-
nest of America haters.
