Hello! I'm new on this forum. !'m a flyfisher from Sweden and I hope to get some new flyfishingfriends here on the forum. I like canerods, and flyfishing i small streams. I,m preparing a trip to the north of Sweden. I,ll be fishing trouth and grayling. I hope i can show you some photos later. Good to have you aboard. How much salmon fishing is still in good shape--in Sweden? I'm just curious. Atlantic Salmon seem to be in trouble almost everywhere. I fished in Ireland 4-5 years ago and there were some salmon. But it did seem like most of the conversation was about the "good old days" and "who to blame" for the demise of the salmon. The sea trout were essentially gone. The locals blamed that on salmon farming and sea lice. |
