Er.... were you talking to me?

O.k., we both know that by now a lot of people are thinking that you're just
doing to me what you did so adroitly to mikie and kennie. But we both also
know that you live only to teach. However, the Socratic method has its
limitations and I'm starting to feel like I'm doing all the work here.
Besides, all this is obviously lost on the groundlings.

So, let's cut to the chase. That point you were trying to get small enough
for me (still working on that, I presume) is undoubtedly also a bit too
coarse for the hopeless (if perhaps well-intentioned) readers here, so let's
just spell it out for them. It isn't so much a matter of whether or not
I've been clever in my end of the discussion thus far. It is instead a
question of HOW clever. More specifically, it's a question of whether all
or even ANY of it has been as clever, insightful, manly, daring, helpful,
brave, wry, quixotic, educational, ambitious, considered, articulate,
humane, funny, thought provoking and just plain kind as your original
observation that Steve's two year old son must be retarded.

Well, is it, not?

You've demonstrated that you may say anything you like and that, like so
many others here, what you like says a lot more about you than any puerile
attempt to convince those reading that you other controlling others through
your superior intellect and canny tactics.

You're move.

Ah, code! Yes, very very cunning!

All joking aside, I cannot recall another time when a puppetmaster has come
in here and taken the place by storm as you have in your brief tenure here.
You'll note that no one has interrupted your performance. Newbies or casual
readers might infer any number of things from this peculiar circumstance
but, as a long term resident I can assure them (and you) that this entirely
because even our most accomplished resident puppetmasters are
stupefied.....nay, STUNNED.....by your virtuosity. Please, don't stop now.

Wolfgang
