No, you weren't just curious. You weren't curious at all. You were simply
being snide, as you so often are, thinking that you would impress someone,
as you always do here, with your uncanny acumen and your flashing repartee.
Your success in this instance is fully the equal of your previous attempts.
And yes, everybody notices.

nb ...off to fish

Well. Gosh.

God info - thanks
I would pack them and ride my horse(s) into the Bob Marshall Wilderness not
too far
My horses are well trained and well behavesd - for the most part
So i would like another animal a pack mule

Re another post about carrying fly rods.
I carry my fly rods in a metal tube or plastic tube in my saddle bag - so
that I can utilize my best rods

Yo notbob

FYI

The entity known as Wolfgang - although he was an irrelevant jerk has
expired.
He is no longer amongst the living and any posts that you may see are really
just posted by his alter ego Mike Connor
He was only one of Mike's minions

They are and were really one and the same
There could not be 2 people on this group that are as disgusting and
pitiful as they are

Wolfgang was only one of Mikes minions or sock puppets.
Mike decided amongst, George Orwell Norman Nescio Borked Potato &
Wolfgang that he terminate one of his identities
as it was getting too confusing even for his skewed mind set

But It is really no loss and neither had anything to say except inane and
nasty comments laced with periodic vitrioloc outbursts

Wayno recently mentioned the problem of determining how many angels
may dance on a pin head.

Here is a real life problem with metaphysical overtones: How many pin
heads can dance in an angling group?

Wolfgang typed:

who, having discovered that repeated death is every bit as horrific and
painful as invisibility, thinks he might just take it up as a hobby or
something.

You and I could have our own private conversation here without Fred reading
a word. Awesome! Oh, but then someone else would just come along and quote
us and ruin the whole exercise.

You mean guides carry your stuff around? Never encountered that.

Your guides on float trips don't load and unload the boats? They don't
set up the wall tents? They don't set up the cook site? If not, you're
getting screwed.

Cooking? Love it, especially camp cooking. I have fed some of the
most infamous roffians, including yourself. Why, wayno and Jeffie
actually swoon over my hash browns. I know, I know, you have this
thing about my ass, but believe me, Steve, you'll never get to it.
Sorry. I don't swing that way. d(

LaCourse

For ****īs sake, the guy is barely at home from what was probably the
trip of a lifetime, which many will never manage, much as they would
like to, a few people are eagerly looking forward to a report and some
pics, finally some interesting angling content, and you are already
dissing and provoking him, telling everybody how much better your
trips were, that you went four times, and caught bigger fish, What the
**** is the matter with you?

Donīt you have any ****ing idea at all of angling camaraderie? You
don't even have enough savvy to keep your ****ing lousy mouth shut. It
is absolutely disgraceful. You donīt deserve to go angling at all you
miserable ****.

While I agree completely with your assessment of LaCourse, this wasn't
the trip of a lifetime. I've floated four Alaska rivers in the past four
years: the Kanektok, the Kwethluk, Lake Creek, and this year the
Kisaralik. the Kisaralik was the best so far, but my lifetime has a way
to go. Knock on wood.

I've spent more time than LaCourse in Alaska, and I can assure anyone
out there in ROFF that catching many 20" rainbows is more than fine,
especially on mice. If you're to be disappointed by not catching
rainbows 30", maybe you should fish with the great LaCourse, but god
help your soul.

Catching them on mice was a real kick -- a first for me. Never used
mammal imitations successfully before. :-)
