Re politics it scares me as there is little that we can do about it except

We have 2,000 rainbow fry coming back to our lake
They are coming "home"
They were at a friend's hatchery.
They would have fried during the summer
We are hopefully into fall and I hope a somewhat wet one.

Ww will have to name all of our "kids"
We also have to keep them away from our bigger fish.

Hint: You can say whatever you like about anyone here, as long
as you can hold your own and don't have a thin skin. Posts on
fly fishing, if they aren't plain stupid, almost never raise
hackles. TRs are always appreciated, although they don't often
elicit many responses.

Complaining about "the group," though, is entirely pointless.
Usenet will wither away--and Penelope Cruz will decide she can't
live without me--before complaining about roff will change it.

Fred, all the BS set aside and I promise to behave, have you done any or
much fly fishing for Carp? I hooked one the other day and I thought I was
never going to get it in. Talk about fight. Can I call carp the fresh water
bone fish?

There is a an entire section devoted to carp fllyfishing in Rick Kustich's
book "Reflections on the Water"
He says the same
but for me as long as we have rivers w rainbow , browns and butthroat where
I live They are my fish of preference - besides for the very few that I
would kill carp taste teriible
