And there are a few jeskoffs on list and too much ego **** but there are some posts about rivers from rw and Dave S that were just great (rw's - sounds like a great Trip I would hope to do one myself there someday- Perhaps) Re politics it scares me as there is little that we can do about it except care and protect - in any way one's family.and... The Pebble Mine is a cruel ****ing joke as is McCain and Obama - But none of it is even remotely funny We have 2,000 rainbow fry coming back to our lake They are coming "home" They were at a friend's hatchery. They would have fried during the summer We are hopefully into fall and I hope a somewhat wet one. Ww will have to name all of our "kids" We also have to keep them away from our bigger fish. Fred |

There are about a dozen hardcore regulars here that do eveything in their power to exert their will on anyone that comes along and if those newbs so much as even think about not adopting the roff party line or, god forbid, exerting their own personality, it's hellfire and damnation, all guns fire on the rise. This group is about as welcoming as a nazi beer hall putsch. "Exert their will"? Hint: You can say whatever you like about anyone here, as long as you can hold your own and don't have a thin skin. Posts on fly fishing, if they aren't plain stupid, almost never raise hackles. TRs are always appreciated, although they don't often elicit many responses. Complaining about "the group," though, is entirely pointless. Usenet will wither away--and Penelope Cruz will decide she can't live without me--before complaining about roff will change it. - JR |

Fred Fred, all the BS set aside and I promise to behave, have you done any or much fly fishing for Carp? I hooked one the other day and I thought I was never going to get it in. Talk about fight. Can I call carp the fresh water bone fish? Rick |

I would say that this may be true but I would add that if one were the solo violinit Ithak Prelman it is about as welcoming as a nazi beer hall putsch. I remember the scenario when not bob joined it was a bit humorous but definitely true as to the above statemnet- Fred |
