Sheesh, R facinating web site too...perhaps a bit right of the birchers though, don't you think? jeezus, she's an outrageous, shock comedienne, who says and does some wicked stuff. that you find it meaningful in any way is kinda humorous. imo, she and you are simply jabbing at others' sensibilities...you for political sport, her for show (and income). Oh, I doubt she would or could influence the election very much if at all, but other more visible and "mainstream" celebs can and will. I don't find her act itself particularly meaningful, I find it indicative. And I'd offer that in many cases, the influence will be to drive more potential voters away from the candidate the celeb's pitch seems intended to support than folks it will convince to vote for them. Just look where Dick Morris has migrated to. You know who Roy Cohen was, who the hit group known as the "Rat ****ers" was, and you are certainly close enough to the rotted core of the GOP to know which Republican parties a straight or a straight laced person does not want to be invited to. And Im sure you have heard the statement that "the "Ds" go for the booze and the bimbos, the "Rs" go for the boy pages." I am pretty sure you also know that the RNC operatives who are called in especially to give a rascist or anti gay angle to tough elections in the South, have been of that closeted persuasion. One of the incredible victories of political info spin of the last 3 decades is the Republican party's ability to garner the "family values" banner, while harboring the majority of the most notorious congressional child molesters, philanderers and adulterers of our times. Between the ex-trotskyites magically transformed into "NeoConservatives," Roy Cohen's devil spawn, and just plain deviants, normal middle of the road, non fanatical Republicans have been driven out of the party. They have been replaced by massed fundamentalists looking for a way to feed at the trough, ideological woodenheads stuck in time, and folks who assume that the GOP is still the respectable moderate option it once was. I would bet you are aware of this stuff and more, yet you soldier on, maybe not really a true believer, but loyal to the end. Amazing. Um, what makes you think I'm a Republican (or for that matter, a Democrat)? OOOOOOH! MYSTERIOUS! IAC, I do know some folks in both parties, in office, out of office, and never ran for office, and I know of a whole lot more and neither party is free of hypocrites, liars, philanders, adulterers, alcoholics, drug users and abusers, racists, bigots, idiots, fools, damned good people, caring individuals who really want to do what's best, hard workers, ****heads, dip****s, and a whole further broad spectrum. In case you hadn't figured it out, such large political parties are made up of large numbers of actual people, and well, it's pretty easy to imagine what happens when you go and get actual people mixed up in things... Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz Wolfgang who knows that if you're going to say the same thing over and over and over and over and over for year after year after year after year........shorter is sweeter. |

And if Sandra Bernhardt was a regular poster here, and posted such tripe, I'd tell her so. And I would expect her to drop the pretense of having not actually done anything wrong. But she, at least, is a professional comedian and being vile is her schtick. You, on the other hand, can continue to insist that you had no ulterior motive with your foolish post, and that you "merely posted the name of an album', but you insult us with your childish insistence that we must believe that.
