Before Vietnam, he crashed an AD-6 into Corpus Christi Bay.

He ran his Skyraider into electrical wires in Spain. McCain himself said
this was because of "daredevil clowning".

He ejected from a T-2 in 1965 over Virginia, crashing the plane into the
woods. "The report found that McCain, then assigned to squadron VT-7 in
Meridian, Miss., had made several errors: He failed to switch the plane's
power system to battery backup, which "seriously jeopardized his survival
chances." His idea of landing on the drag strip was "viewed with concern
and is indicative of questionable emergency procedure.""

He crashed two planes and almost crashed a third before he ever saw
combat.

He probably wouldn't have still been flying by Vietnam if his father
weren't Mr. Big.

Perhaps this explains why less than 10 pages of his military record have
been released, when the full package is rumored to be hundreds of pages.

asking why we don't know about McCain's early aviation problems is
questioning his heroism?

going to vote for this well spoken, untried, untrue, lying

he should be potus. His own VP choice said that McCain is able to
take the office but Obama "isn't ready". That was said by HIS VP

If Obama gets in, he is not going to be there 8 years. He is clueless as
well as most of the government on how to stop the economic morass we are
entering. We are going to have a bad next 4 years and I do not see Obama
helping with his raise taxes and spending scenarios. He keeps saying
"Change". But the only change I see from him is he wants to the change the
POTUS title to him. What we need is a fiscal conservative. And the next
POTUS is not one. Cut government spending by at least 25%. Cut the
bureauracy by at least that much. With a Democrat POTUS and and a Democrat
Congress, katy bar the door on spending.

You are a dum fock. I said we need a fiscal conservative. Bush, and I did
not vote for him last time, was not a fiscal conservative. The RNC is very
right wing and not looking after the people. The DNC is extremely to the
left and they sure have not been doing anything to stem the flow of red ink
in the last year that they have had control of Congress. Why would you say
it is my team? I am a registered Democrat and JFK would be a Moderate
Republican these days. I am saying what the next POTUS and the Congress
should do. But neither of the two that are running is worth a crap.
McCain, a long term Senator. The same Senate that has even a lower rating
than Bush. Obama, a declared socialist in all his writings and actions up
until now. His proposals to cut taxes on 95% of the people (impossible, as
only 55% pay taxes in this country) and increase spending by
$800,000,000,000. And with a Pelosi House, there is going to be absolutely
no controls on spending. At least with two different parties in charge of
the proposing spending and the spending branches, our children and
grandchildren may have some money left after paying for yours and my
spending.
