Default TR: not fly fishing.

One of the locals reported a lot of fish on the fly at the Farallon Islands,
but I was fishing the kelp and deep. Here is my buddies report with some
pics.
We got rain today, but not cold rain. This is a pic of me fishing on Wed.
out of a Kayak in the ocean.

I am the far kayak in the fourth picture. And the orange kayak in the other
pic of abalones and fish. Buddy did the abs, I just fished.

I remember when I was a kid, free diving for abs and not bothering
unless they were in the at least 9". Those are nice. Hmm, kayak on
the Farallons? Can you say "shark bait?"
Nice report.

Nice report.

I think the flyfishing at the Farallons was from a boat, not a yak. I have
caught Blue and Black rockfish on a fly. They are schooling fish and will
be on the surface at times.
