My cabin was on deck six - kinda high for trolling. I did go out
fishing one day - trolled for two hours and the three of us caught two fish. I would not reccomend the fishing shore excursion on Half Moon Cay. Ronnie http://fishing.about.com Ya didn't take a rod along to troll the Caribbean with? *;} |

On some of the smaller ships I have been on that is truel Not sure
about a 2200 passenger ship. Never saw any signs of fishing by crew. And we were usually moving around 20 - 22 knots - that seems kinda fast to troll. Ronnie http://fishing.about.com |

Disappearing below deck with a fishing rod prolly wouldn't a scored ya any points with yer wife either bg Have to talk her into a smaller, slower ship next time. Dan |

And we were usually moving around 20 - 22 knots - that seems kinda fast to troll. Ronnie http://fishing.about.com My former fishing partner was based on a carrier part of his career. Flyer. They were fishing off one of the lower level openings one time and the Captain told them this was not a fishing boat. As to Half Moon Cay. I was too cheap to do the flats fishing in the inner area. Was something like $175 for 1.5 hours. Talking to the guide as we were waiting for the lighter back to the ship, asked him what he charge on Eleuthera where he was from. About $100 / day. |
