Well if you here of any make sure you post them for all.
The brother and I are heading to the Big "O" next Fri. Neither of us has fished it before, but looks like there should be enough water to keep us busy for a couple of weeks we will be there. Sounds like I will have to go to something slower than my normal spinner bait. But if there is action in 50 deg. water on top bait, who knows what will work that far south???? If you want to get together Dan let me know. Anyone with suggestions for us??? Sure will be nice to leave the cold of Wisconsin for a couple of weeks. And once we get back Ice Off should be right around the corner too!!!! Thanks dand -- Sometimes the best thing to do: Is nothing at all. |

There are two guys that get out here sometimes that might be able to give ya some ideas. They don't live there anymore and are froze in up North now. I have been trying to find out about some of the many lakes around here, but getting any thing useful is pretty much like pulling teeth without Novocain. No one even has any local lake maps in stock. There are lots of small lakes around here and two pretty good size flowage's. I'm in Beverly Hills which is Southwest of Ocala, Northwest of Inverness and Northeast of Crystal River. BTW check out the Secrete weapon site for their Sidearm spinner baits. I figure to use them and their regular spinners with large blades so slow movement won't be a problem. By the time you guys get down here the water should be pretty warm! Remember these lakes are pretty shallow, not like WI lakes. Here they talk about fishing deep and when I ask. "What is deep?", they say 10/12 feet. Send me an email and I will send my phone # _ Dan TOASTY in Florida for now Remove the X for e-mail reply www.outdoorfrontiers.com www.SecretWeaponLures.com A proud charter member of "PETAF", People for Eating Tasty Animals and Fish!!! |
