Gluckert had a wide open pass to go into the Bush Whitehouse, stay overnight, screw and whip whoever were his customers, and according to the Secret Service, leave no record of checking out. Over and over and over. Did the "aid/companion" have a Whitehouse pass? Nope. You true believers just do not get it. You just do not understand why and how all of the corruption, immorality, and treasonous bull**** your crowd waddled in, has driven so many people, including much of the evangelical community away from the right-wingnut hijacked Republican Party. The Rs will start winning elections again when they jettison the America haters. Dave |

Hard to top yourself but maybe you can pretend that Karl R. is a proctologist whose interest in Mr. Gluckert's asshole was purely pro bono. Do you actually read a newspaper before or after you make up your blowhard bull****? Dave The current admin got handed almost as bad a situation as the last one. At least the transition didn't include trashed offices and PCs. Maybe all the PCs should have had the letters B and O removed from them. The current proposed spending cluster **** is the most outrageous in history. Its just paybacks to all the groups that supported Obama. Controls? Not in Obama's "stimulation" package. Have a nice week. Work hard at the office. I'll be out fishing. Again. |

Double standard? First of all, what in the hell does Frank's being gay have to do with anything - IOW, are you suggesting that if he had been a straight guy shacked up with a gal running girls without his knowledge, it would have been OK? IAC, it's pretty clear that Frank had no idea what his "companion" was up to. I'd offer that while Frank has gotten some stuff wrong, he is, in general, a pretty decent legislator (judging him by the standard of legislators), even though I personally disagree with much of what he believes as far as politics go...as to what he does in the bedroom, I don't give a tinker's damn - I'm certainly not interested in asking (or knowing) and I'm hoping he continues to be uninterested in telling... No one would have batted an eye. This liberal vs conservative bull**** is real stale. That dog don't hunt anymore, the voters made that real clear in the fall. The fact that the right hasn't caught on might well mark the death of the GOP. Tom Now wait a sec - I can't imagine anyone, in any administration or the public at large, being sent to jail or even prosecuted for having made the mistake(s) Kirk made. It has nothing to do with "free rides" or anything else. Tommy and Timmy, OTOH... TC, R ....and as an aside, I'd not consider Ron Kirk "a liberal"... |

Or, are you just another blowhard throwing bull**** accusations around? I'm talking about the male prostitution part, as I don't think too many people have an issue with Congressman Frank's sexual preference. Tom 1989 http://newsbusters.org/node/8119 just one reference. HTH, R I do not care that Barney is gay. I do care about the pass he gets when his companion runs a prostitution ring out of Barney's house. Gay or straight prostitution does not matter. But Barney got a pass from the fourth Estate and Congress. If you are going to complain about a congressman tapping his shoe in the john make the same standards apply across the board. A companion with unfettered and undocumented access to the White House running an illicit business should cause a lot of flap. Same with the tax error nominees. They should be getting the same penalties any other taxpayer that makes an error gets. Nope, they are getting a free ride. Sort of like getting caught leaving the bank you just robbed and giving the money back and walking away without charges. Unfortunately, I used to think Barney was probably the smartest person in Congress, but after all the support of FM $ FM during the bad loan era, I have killed that thought. He may be intelligent, but he is not smart. |

Except sign the largest pork spending bill ever conceived. The market is still in freefall, even worse with the taxes that are being proposed on business. Still no loans being made to homebuyers. Daughters friends have made an offer on a house. Accepted by the sellers. The real estate agent, says he has 30 signed deals for houses. By buyers that can afford the payments. 1 has been approved. Most of the spending in the newest PORK bill, does not kick in for at least a year. Your kids and grandkids are going to inherit a huge deficit for our sins. |

A lot less effort and cost to pay the $250 than to fight the IRS. Then you have to pay huge estimates the next year and wait for your refund. No interest or penalty to the IRS. |

Wrong, Poor baby, wrong. You under estimated your non salaried, quarterly payments. So you couldn't even do once, what every small business person in the country has to do 4 times a year, good times/ bad times, because you needed to pay taxes on realized stock options at an inconvenient time. Sorry I can't work up a blubber fest. Some people might feel damn lucky to have to pay that much tax. And when you say you earned it, one could ask why no Social Security was paid on it, like it is on most every dollar working stiffs make in this country. My point is much in the tax code is unfair, mostly to Mr and Mrs Average, but THE BILLS MUST BE PAID. Thats something Democrats take seriously. No Republican President in the last 50 years has seemed to understand the words "balanced budget." Dave |
