short 3 weight rod

never tried a 6ft 6inch or 7ft 3 weight for my small mountain
fishing--always thought an 8ft rod was better for dipping and sticking
over
rocks, but as
brookies have grown smaller and bushes have grown bigger think would
like
fish some this season with a short rod.
I"m too old and too broke to afford a new rod but if one of you guys
have an
old rod you no longer use, I would be happy to help you clean out
your
closet ! give me a price including freight and I'll send check. ,
and
enjoy piddling along in my ageing years.

I have two flyrods. One I won at an event and when I learned what it cost, I gave it a
home in the gun safe. You fly fishermen spend a lot of money on your fish sticks.

I have a 1 wt Orvds rod and reel that I no longer use and willl never use
again
I like bigger fish & I do not want to torture a large fish w the fight
bringing him in on a 1 wt
Top of the line reel also
Old butt still good line even
