Hi Ken,

In the second picture, do you fish the water with all them
rocks in it? Got to me tons of feeding lies in it. If you
do, wet or dry? Any special techniques? And how do you
keep from loosing tons of gear in the rocks?

You must be referring to the first set of pics. The second picture
in this set is sunrise over Lake Superior.

It's hopper season up here. I just tie on a size 14 orange or
yellow hoppulator/stimulopper (my lazy man's tie that is half
hopper, half stimulator). Nothing special, just hopper fishing.

Losing gear ? I don't know what you mean. The only thing in my
hands is my fly rod, everything else has a place either in a
pocket or on the lanyard. If I'm going to be up there all day
with a lunch and a water bottle I'll wear my vest.

for anything other than comic relief then fishing wet flies
is the least of your problems.

You really need to listen to Rush just a little bit
before jumping to conclusions. When did liberals
become so close minded? They use to love to debate
and know what the other side thought. Not any more.

I'd really love to know your thoughts on the wet fly
problem. Just because you are a liberal, doesn't

anyone who mistakes that nonsense for serious political
commentary has **** for brains and is easily duped. And

I don't have a problem with wet flies. I don't use them
when the fish are attacking hopper patterns with reckless
abandon, that would be as stupid as listening to Limbaugh.
Apparently you have a problem with losing a lot of wet flies
to the rocks. All I can advise is ponder the question; "How
do you get to Carnegie Hall ?".

I highly respect. He is fascinating to listen to
when he has researched a subject. I may have been
projecting his personality on to you because you
were both liberal.

He also listens to Rush, but only the sound clips

you were kidding and had a great laugh. I told you
you needed to go fishing (as if any of us really needed

For Jesus to be a liberal would require serious revisions
to those 10 commandments. For example: Thou shalt not covet
thy neighbors possessions (socialism, class envy); Thou
shalt not bear false witness (you hear Kennedy carry
on about judge Bork and Thomas?); Thou shalt have no
other gods before me (liberalism is a competing religion
with Christianity); and my all time favorite, *Thou

Limbaugh is a clown, a running joke, an embarrassment
to thinking conservatives and he most certainly does
not represent the educated and articulate conservative
point of view in a debate between liberals and conservatives.
For reasoned conservative discourse you'll need to read, as
I do, Krauthammer, Will, Brooks, Gerson, Gingrich and Cal
Thomas. Listening to Limbaugh is in no way listening to a
reasoned opinion.
