Don't have any links to stream flow data in Wisconsin. *I think I may
have had something for the middle branch of the Ontonagon River (U.P.,
not Wisconsin) some years ago when I learned about a controversy about
diverting the water, but those disappeared along time ago. *Nothing
else. *The thing is, generally, stream flow is not much of an issue in
this part of the world. *There's oodles of water everywhere around
here. *In fact, it's kind of hard to find a dry spot to sit on in
Michigan or Wisconsin. *Not much reason to fight over water......not
much reason to be obsessed with stream flow data. *Quite naturally,
this abundance of water here has led to a burgeoning of water
intensive enterprises, unlike places where a relative dearth of water
has led, quite unnaturally, to a burgeoning of water intensive
enterprises.....and a concommitant obsession with stream flow data.
Well, that's what ya get when EVERYBODY wants ALL of the paltry supply
of water, ainna? *I mean, ya might as well try agribusiness in a
****in' desert, eh?

Anyway I always get a kick at those stream structures you
folk like to build on trout streams. Reminds me of Boy Scouts and the

Well then, it would seem that with such natural advantages in your
aquarian State, and such a clear and simple personal understanding of
agribusiness, western water policy, and so much more, you could have
an incredible career as a motivational speaker in Midwestern farm
circles. My guess is that you could also probably put the Wisconsin
Fish agencies straight on why they have so much difficulty with
natural repro, huh? Stream flows not an issue huh?

Has it ever occurred to you that if you learned to master the
rudiments of arithmetic you wouldn't have to launch into these
periodic grade school snits? *Is it MY fault you can't add, subtract,
multiply and divide? *Am I responsible for your failure to distinguish
between a period and a comma? *Have I ever claimed to have managed a
municipal water supply? *Did MY ancestors ever save
civilization.....single-handedly.....innumerable times?

While you are at it maybe you could be a catalyst in reducing
Wisconsin's use of Western coal-fired dirty power production.

I do occasionally make mention of a viable alternative in these
pages. *Mostly, it doesn't generate much informed or interesting
discussion. *Hm.....maybe if your ancestors were Dutch.....?

Actually, I've never considred myself a very strong or convincing
advocate of agriculture. *I thought I had made that pretty clear.

real land, real water, real money.

See, that's your trouble. *You should be like the rest of us. *Just

actual contribution to a healthy river environment. Different
decisions could easily make more money.

Hey you dumb ****, if you could read you would realize just how much
slack most Roffians seem to cut you. Instead you just pile on the
smart ass insults and snippity snip like some petulant teenager. If
you are not interested in it, you dismiss it. Why not take a page from
your own book and look how folks treat your occasional cullings from
some of the classic fly fishing books. Do folks **** on your offerings
in that area? Nope. Why do you think that is?

Few people react negatively to an addition, a correction or a
clarification that advances a non-political discussion here on Roff,
unless , , , it is delivered in a disrespectful, smart assed way. Most
often the substance of your contributions, when you make the effort,
is good, however you seem bound and determined to wrap your
contributions in humorless nastiness.

I expect you will respond to this post like you usually do. But
sometime you ought to consider that life is short and you could get a
lot more from the fellowship that is on offer via Roff than your
present stance brings you. Lighten up.
