Bruiser and Willi are there right now. If you run into them I suggest
that you keep the conversation away from politics.

sorry my friend... I always want to say **** like that online but no one
else will forgive me!..

That's o.k. It doesn't hurt.....much.....for long.

I'm still thinking about the small mouth thing....

Haven't heard any details from George yet. I'll keep you posted as I
hear.

any
chance of getting a spring trip...meaning earlier in the calendar year
together?

Becky and I are going out to the Platte in Nebraska to look at half a
million sandhill cranes migrating through in late March. Aside from
that, out of state travel is pretty much out of the question for us
due to time and economic constraints till probably sometime in the
fall.

I spent New Years much as you....but I was in the back yard in a lawn chair
in the city and the gun fire woke me up

Yeah, pretty much the same. Well, some of the details......

giles
who, truth be told, can't remember for sure whether or not he was
doing any shooting in the wee hours of that morning. hm.....
sorry, john.

well...this seems as good a spot as any to post this...

"The earthquake that rocked the coast of Haiti killed or injured a
devastating number of people. Even more were left in need of aid, making
this is one of the great humanitarian emergencies in the history of the
Americas. In the aftermath of the disaster, President Barack Obama asked
President Bill Clinton and President George W. Bush to raise funds for
immediate relief and long-term recovery efforts to help those who are
most in need of food, water, shelter, medical care, and support. In
response, the two Presidents established the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund
(CBHF) to identify and fulfill unmet needs in the region, foster
economic opportunity, improve the quality of life of those affected over
the long term, and assist the people of Haiti as they rebuild their
lives and country. Presidents Clinton and Bush oversee the CBHF through
their respective nonprofit organizations, the William J. Clinton
Foundation and Communities Foundation of Texas. One hundred percent of
the donations made to the Clinton Foundation go directly to relief
efforts. Ninety-nine percent of the donations made to the Communities
Foundation of Texas go directly to relief efforts."

Another explanation could be that the Clinton foundation has been
around longer and Clnton has had longer to raise funds to cover his
nut, (No pun intended) and he has been very successful as a fund
raiser. Bush has had only a year and has had a a slow start on the
lecture circuit. 1% isn't bad. And him pairing with Clinton is a good
thing both for Bush and for some healing to occur. I think Bush was
used by the radicals and the Neocons far more than he used them, and
Cheney, I believe history will show, was very disloyal and conniving.
