John I love listening to new music and I am constantly doing so. I thank the person that made the post about Jesse Winchester I have not hear him in years So I immediately went to the Zune marketplace and downloaded some of his music Yrs ago I had his first album just called Jesse Wincherster released in 1970 and its still a good album. Most of my downlaods are Celtic (Irish) and Scottish and Newfoundland music - mainly fiddle and accordian\ I rarely go anywhere w/o my mp3 player Fred I really need to get up on the downloading thing...my local-been there forever-music store is closing this month and I don't think Wal-Mart is going to have the artists I like..Amazon and Ebay helps... I tried to check out the Zune site buy I get bored when I can't get my questions answered in five or ten minutes..it looks like most of the stuff is for mp3 type players? I need a place I can burn to CD and play on my stereo system...and I can't play anything that has been compressed. john |
