Did ya keed the bear skull? It would look great on the hood of your truck or hangin' at the entrance to your fine home. thanks mark... since i was on private property and didn't know the
story behind the thing i figured i shouldn't mess with it. the farm is huge, and the owner leases hunting rights to a select group (i'm not one)for a big fee....they kill a lot of bear, deer, ducks, swan and geese on that property. i've no interest in the killing, just the wildlife viewing (which is terrific), and the catching and releasing of fish. i treat it like a little piece of yellowstone in carolina, and don't remove anything...well, except, one very fine 8 pound bass i had mounted. g On 4/16/2010 7:26 AM, Mark Bowen wrote: Nice pics Mr. Miller! You obviously don't know the meaning of the word "keed."
One who "keeds," makes a plaster casting of partially de-fleshed bear skulls--still attached to a length of backbone and spinal components. Of course, you have to be prepared with the plaster casting materials, without knowing when, if ever, you are likely to run up on a partially de-fleshed bear's skull--still attached to a length of backbone and spinal components. Finished my Capstone Presentation today. Just gotta complete final exam and I'm ready to take the walk on May 8th! Hope to see ya soon!
