Great report bruiser! Glad ta hear y'all had such a good time. I hope to
make it out that away in the next year or two. Now that I have so much time
off to look forward to, it's gonna be hard decidin' where to take it.

.. I dapped one of the #14 orange stimulators I
tied last year for the swap, and the fish came up and sucked it in
about 15 feet in front of me. An average sized fish, 15 inches or so,
that put up a good fight. That was my only rise to a dry.

I'd be interested in the "thought process" that led to selecting the fly
...... "how brains work" is always an interesting topic to me. I often
hear stories of fishing success ( this being an example ) using flies/
tactics that would likely never occur to me in a similar situation ... and
like to understand how others reach decisions, hoping it will help me "
think out of the box" more often

um, if i were you, given your empirical, um, sexual environment, i would
recommend driving to morganton every single night of the week, and spend two
hours on one side of the street where waldo's is located, and two hours on
the other, going from one bar/restaurant to the other.. based on my
observations this may, you will hit paydirt (charming euphomisim, eh?) about
ten days down the road.

hittin' on me, I want a BLACK Mercedes!

Besides, on the 10th day, I will be back at work But you already knew
that, right?

An old indian adds--or just go across highway on Tuesday night to Holiday

Inn bar and sit next to big blond on second bar stool on the left----buy her
a drink---talk to her about the music--buy her a drink--talk to her about
fly fishing--buy her a drink---tell her how good she looks- buy her a
drink --tell her you are just passing thru town coming from your wife's
funeral and you think you will just get a room and drink your bottle of jack
danials all by yourself-you are so lonely--

This one was easy. Bruce was yelling "Stimulator", I've learned to do
what he says on the Juan, and it will catch fish. I stuck with my Dink
float too long, the fish pimp was the right trick. Willi's little
patch of foam required more finess than I have, but I understand why it
works for him.
