Congrats DUDE!

I've been wnating me one of the things or an I-pad or something or other--but gotta wait for my **** to come in first.

Anyway, don't read yourself silly. Pace yourself. Moderation is best, ya know. OR not!

Hi Mark,

Every one of your replies is coming out as a
new/fresh post. *It makes a mess out of the
thread and makes it hard to track you. *This
would not be a problem is I did not like reading
your stuff!

Google groups does mess up the thread. *If you
are using Google, would you consider switching
to a news reader program. *I like Thunderbird,
but I won't mention it as the last time I did, I
offended the Condescending One. *So I did not
mention it. *Not one word. *My lips are sealed.

An iPad, while a fine tool for what it is made, is no substitute for a
Kindle (or Nook) when it comes to reading books. An iPad has a back lit
screen that tires the eyes of most readers after a while.

Dedicated ereaders like the Kindle or Nook have what are called eInk
screens. As Wolfgang described, it looks just like paper. You can read
it for hours without tiring your eyes any more than a book would.
Amazon.com has a brief but informative description.

Scroll down to E Ink 101:
