Bill (I look forward to meeting you, Roger!) You're flying a long ways and I think you deserve a more honest answer. I don't live in Pennsylvania so I MIGHT be wrong, but I believe that May is a rainy time of year. The year I went, it literally rained every day and the rivers were muddy and very high. That was an exceptional amount of rain. Last year was better. The likelihood of muddied rivers is what makes the trip this year iffy for me. Maybe Bill is in charge of weather this year and he's guaranteeing good weather? With the discussions of Penns weather that we've seen on ROFF, I didn't think my post needed a smiley. :-) Roger, plan on bringing everything from shorts to midweight long johns, from sun hat to full on Gore Tex and you'll probably use most or all of it during the week. Honest Bill, who's barely in charge of himself. |
