someone call 911 in stanley, idaho. barnard must be near death, or
already deceased, not to have responded to *that* one, by now.

Since you haven't mentioned UNC basketball today I was beginning to
think someone was posting using your ID, but not any more.

Speaking of which (the game, not wayno)....

- so much for the vaunted Peyton Factor. 2 picks already.
- so much for the vaunted James Factor. Paltry yards so far.
- so much for not having punted in the playoffs.
(no - wait - they *still* haven't actually punted in the playoffs ;-)

Pats have not lost in the last 23 games where they led at half time.

Now, I'm not getting myself into anybody's personal ****ing match; but in
light of the ones presently in play, I feel the need to make the following
observation. You don't know Mr. Fortenberry, nor are you sufficiently
familiar with his sum total of contributions here to authoritatively decree
what is or is not his "signature". Undoubtedly, you have seen one of his
more, shall we say, unsympathetic, sides; but you have not the experience
with him or TBone or any historic interaction between them to have any sense
of humor or attitute inherent in Ken's brief reply. It is often recommended
that newcomers to any newsgroup simply read for a while to get the flavor of
the group before posting. This is one of those instances where that would
have been advisable. IMHO, of course.

All true, of course. Still, an effort to plant a boot in Ken's ass is never
entirely out of line, is it?

Then too, Ms. S., I think, has ample justification for making the effort
beyond it's undeniably sufficient amusement value.

I don't know, Joe. You don't need to be an "oldtimer" to see that Ken
frequently acts like an arrogant, "whiny", preachy, schoolmarm with bad
manners who takes it upon himself to lambast newcomers for minor
"netiquette" transgressions. KF acted like an asshole toward her in
reference to some minor error in "netiquette" she made and IMO, any kind
of **** that she may give him in return is well deserved.

What's even more surprising to me than his amazingly hypocritical
behavior is that he seems to hold his obnoxious behavior up as some kind
of badge of honor.

(And don't give me that old - but he's different in person- because it
just ain't true)

Willi
