Frank notes:
This is gonna get UGLY! We have strong (smelling) contingents from both North Cakalaky and Taxachusetts here in ROFFland. .....and some serious Pats fans who have been displaced for years from New England, for instance, this one in PA. FWIW, I would quote Mr. T in saying "I pity the fools" who have to play the Pats, when Belichick has 2 weeks to prepare. Tom |

There aren't many QB's in the game with a better ability to find the open receiver than Manning; his problem was that there weren't any. The Pats secondary was superb, and their pressure on the QB was relentless. oh i agree charlie.... imo, he has the best skills by far in the qb department. it's just that he hasn't learned how to win the really big games yet. if and when he does, look out. wally |

Yes but isn't that what the oddsmakers were saying about the Rams and
Eagles. Carolina was supposed to have NO hope of winning but look at who is the NFC Champion. It will be an interesting game. Oh, Mr. 'Tripper, Me fears the mighty Patriots may be done in by a severe case of "cat-scratch fever". Uncle Mac lol. well, ok, but I swear I can already smell a Kitty Roast ;-) Pats have Brady. Pats have the Coach of the Year. Pats have the Homeland Defense. Las Vegas agrees: early line favors Pats by 7. It's a Red, White and Blue Destiny! /daytripper ("Houston, we have no problem!" ;-) |

IIRC, the nearly-forgotten Rams were favored by 7 points, and had a 14-game winning streak at home. Too bad they wimped out at the end of the game. I'd love to see Carolina win, but I think it's too close to call. Bob |
